    Smile please advise S.wales angler

    I am holidaying with the missuss middle of July, south and southwest coast could anyone give me some information on where I can do some bass fishing, spinner, lure fishing as I will only be carrying light tackle. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    The fast answer to this question is you can fish almost anywhere around this area of Ireland with the tackle you're talking about! There are literally hundreds of rock marks where you can fish into deep water for Pollack and Mackerel or you can fish the shallow reefs or esturaries for Bass. The choice is endless! My best advice would be for you to read the article on this website ''A map, a rod and a box of lures'' written by John Hall. John is professional guide working around the cobh area and having fished with John, I can assure you he is an excellent guide and a total gentleman.
