Ha I love my tube, you won't catch me in the middle of a lake with those attached to my feet in 20 mph winds
+ he must have beter balance than a russian gymnast to walk around in them that easily or the water is about 1ft deep

Flat Calm days
We had a lot of flat calm days thru the Summer down here in Cornwall, and they look like the perfect cheapo way to get to that bit of rough ground just outside casting range!
BUT......wot happens when you hook something decent and it takes you waterskiing down the coast !!

I almost won a tube off fleebay earlier this year, was less than £25 and was a bargain, but I feared I would of drowned myself ! LOL
What sort do you have, and how much do you honestly use it and where ? Not a good idea in the sea with an offshore, thats a fact ! Well unless you have never visited Ireland before ! PMSLKnow how to prevent sagging?

Should give them to jet skeirs on the condition that they get rid of the jet.

Hi Sally, that sounds like it was a bargain. They are great and very safe. We only ever go out in pairs, that is a rule at our local reservoir and we stick to that for the salty stuff too. We always wear lifejackets too.
Three of us got Caddis High Back tubes in a clearance sale from TackleBargains.co.uk. They are great as they take lorry inner tubes so are very solid and should one of us get a puncture, it is only £4 for a replacement. Plenty of pocket space for your kit, and clips for net, rod etc.
Bought for fishing drift reservoir for the trout. Bit sad probably, but I've only fished off the bank 4 times this year. Must have been out in the tube minimum of 50 times....honestly! We are going to a BFTA competition at bushyleaze (nr Oxford) end of this month. You are close by so if you wanted to come allong to check it out/have a go let me know
We are lucky enough to have Mounts Bay down eeer for use in the sea, dead still on a calm summers day, but use a wetsuit instead of waders, also been in over at Carnsew Pool Hayle.
I would love to give those ski things a go, but personally think they would be much more dangerous than a tube. You will need to take a ruck sack full of stuff + casting would be a nightmare with the balance issue. Oh and I can imagine being upside down not being able to resurface as you have two big floats stuck to your feet

If I am free I would love to pop along and see em in action, most impressed that its not another thing that comes out once a year, have an awful lot of tack that fits that title ! LOL
Exactly what I though, get caught off balance and have a birds eye view of the river / sea / pool bed ! Fun ----------------- not ! And how the hell would you get back on em ?Know how to prevent sagging?
