    hi anybody got a boat in dunbar is it safe to leave any tackle
    in boat and any pros or con about leaving boat in harbour just
    a thawt as i hope to get my boat in this year

    one of the locals got gear stolen off his boat a couple of years ago AND by another local some fisticuffs after that not sure if its a problem there, probably wouldnt leave anything of any value just in case anyway ask the harbour master he will know what goes on and if if its safe or not, try and get your boat in around the month of may it starts picking up then

    I keep my boat there, any gear is under lock and key. I've had the occasional warning of stuff being at risk but never actually witnessed anything or met anyone who had lost anything. Worst I've experienced is wee boys throwing stones, but more daft than malicious. Bob Clunas is the harbourmaster and will give you the lowdown.
