    winter project

    hi all
I would like some advice on the hook types and sizes for tying bass and mackeral flies, I have some 1/0 o'shaughnessy but am now thinking they might be a bit on the small side if tying sandeel type flies ect, but not sure hence the appeal for advice, i'll be going to the fly fishing fair this sunday anyway, so thought I could get the stuff I haven't got already there.
    thanks in anticipation

You should get some good ideas here. They quote a few hook sizes.
