would anyone be able to tell me how to get to the wooden pier that you can see to the left as you look out from Wards pier in Milford Haven.

Always fancied trying it out - does anyone fish it? any good?

on the look out for new venues to try this winter so any help would be gratefully received.

    cheers

    Milford Pier

A mate was talking to the police whilst fishing last week and he informed him that the pier was sealed off as its unsafe and falling abroad. Shame as its been a productive venue for myself in the past. We fished Milford Docks last night and the mrs had two nice congas. One about 5lb the other 6/7lb. Bites galore and I lost at least three! Lot of small whiting and pouting. Have fished the docks for years and always find it a good mark. Hakin Point is also a good mark and worth a try.

On sunday I saw two young lads fishing Newton Noyes pier. I know of a lot of people that fish there and apparently if you know where to step it isnt that dangerous, not that I would recommend anyone going there.

Alternatively fish wards pier on the right hand side of the entrance to the pill. Heard there was a 4.5lb Cod caught there last night and there are plenty of whiting to be had and for those that can hurl it out the chance of a ray.
