sellafield
aint fished for a while
last time i did took my
8 yr old son to w/haven west pier
he caught and landed his first fish ever a mackerel
im a fisherman now dad, he said
you sure are son you sure are i replied
hit sellafield last night for low water
fished it 2 hours back
got 2 flounder nowt special
1 bass 2lb
then had a bite looked like a typical bass bite
struck and connected
i landed a sea bream jus under 2 lb
a few anglers that were fishing
were surprised to see this species landed so far up north
looking forward to my dinner

alrite zed, got back from scotland other day stopped off at tarnside, i had no bait left to call owt but 2 guys were fishin low water the same night u were at sellafield,they had 4 bass between them [3 keepers] fishin low water up a couple of hours on crab and lug. scotland was ace didnt do a lot of fishin only managed to get out in the boat once last friday night wind blew up saturday so the guy decided to head home we went further up as far as portpatrick found some great spots on the way especially on luce bay definately goin back up there to fish more seriously,did to much beerin this time

fresh black lug was used for the fishing
it was nice eating the bream
twus a bit plaicey in taste
out on a boat today off seascale
codling flounder dabs mackerel gurnard were the catch of today
nowt of any real size but enjoyed it all the same
