It's not really a good idea to keep spurdog for cooking, like Davy has stated, they are slow growning and there are many other species out there that are more suitable for cooking than Spurs.
I'm sorry, but I'm going to close this before the topic becomes something we don't want it to be...Nothing personal, just best for the harmony of the forum
