    Spinner/Plugs

What's the differance between a spinner and a plug?, i has always just used a spinner. Never quite fancied a plug but im beggining to change my mind. So what are the best plugs to use for each kind of fish? Any tips or tactics would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

If I'm right: plugs float and skit along the top of the water usually with a rattle inside as an added attractant. where as spinners sink.

I did a lot of plugging when I was in Florida a couple of years back and it was a great way to fish. I have tried it here a few trimes too with limited success.

The only ones I have tried here is the storm chug bug and caught a few Bass with them

Some good information of lure fishing and lures on here - http://worldseafishing.com/news/129/

Should tell you everything you need to know, basically a plug is a wooden or plastic fish that can float/sink/countdown sink and usually has a lip to make it dive and wiggle in the water. Spinners refers to lures like tobys and dexter wedges, a shaped piece of metal which wobbles and spins on the retrieve, both have their place and the above articles should tell you all about it. Hope that helps
