Can anybody please advise me on marks & tackle to use when fishing at Cromer in August?

Guess you're on holiday then. Much depends on the sea state. With clear sea head to the shingle beaches at Cley/ Salthouse/ Weybourne for mackeral. Also good bass (double figures) can show from Cromer pier with livebaited mackeral (which also show there). With a N swell or decent N/ NW wind most of the beaches should produce bass. Peeler will be best and also deters the crabs. I'd fish all beaches last 2 up and 1st 3 down. On big tides some of the beaches are inaccessible.
