Wanna Learn...Here's where!!
Tomorrow, the 23rd December and next saturday 30th December, I am running a casting class for anyone who wants to learn at Goodrington South Sands, Paignton, Devon. If you are embarrased at trying something new in front of others, I fully understand, and you can come and watch, ask questions, bring your camera, try some of the rods, (your reel, I'm not daft!), and you will be given a handout on the important points to understand about distance casting. These have never been published, and are copyright, so I don't expect to see them in a future issue of danglers monthly. The cost is nil, and insurance is taken care of. The session runs from 2.00 pm until 4.30 approx., and all are welcome, whether you believe or not, and if you have been before, it will be nice to see you again.

what an offer
any one who can attend I would recommend they do. I spent one afternoon with Phill and my eyes were opened, gone now are the days of ricking my back, going home with more aches than I started with and after putting in enough raw power into my casts to enter the worlds strongest man comp and reaching 120 yds, I can now employ the methods that Phill showed me and enjoy some real smooth casts and reach 160/170yds with ease. this all goes wrong if I try and be greedy but I feel sure that with practice the magical 200yd barrier will be achieved

If anglers would like a visit to their area, if you are members of the NFSA then your club can request a visit. This could be done through your division. There may be finance available, we have visited South Wales and Penzance twice in the last 18 months primarily to look after young anglers, the older anglers come later when the young anglers have gone.
If you don't ask.....
