Paignton Casting - a washout...BUT

Saturday 2pm...wet and windy, so......
I am thinking of running a hangover session on the 1st January for those who survived New Years Eve celebrations, and fancy a Surfcasting teach-in session.

Same place, Goodrington South Sands, Paignton, from 12 noon onwards until someone makes a bad cast into the saloon bar and I have to go and retrieve it.

All are welcome to come; watch, try, ask questions, laugh (but not at others attempts please). Ladies are welcome, if you are coming, let us know and Jo will come down as well.

Phil, was hoping to get down to Paignton this afternoon, however due to commitments here in Bristol, impossible! any ideas what the weathers likely to do new years day in South Devon? as I would like to come down, but it would mean a sober new years eve for me (unheard of!) best regards, Nick.

Get a bit less drunk, and come and enjoy the weather! The forecast for Paignton is http://uk.weather.com/weather/detail/UKXX0616?dayNum=2 , which says that the sun comes out at noon!

Weather was still crap (rain then sleet then pea-size hailstorm plus thunder and lightning, so we went back and watched a DVD instead, with a nice hot cup of tea.
Bliss.

Nope, every week. I just hope no-one turns up so I can do some serious practice!
Wintertime, this is obviously weather permitting, so if ou want to come along for the craic or to learn ot is best to phone first, as I also do tutoring for new coaches.
