There are a few places you could try
The Custom House use a 2 or 3 hook rig here,
The prom anywhere along here will get better fish,
Behind the swimming pool this area can be rough so take rotten bottom rigs,
The best mark would be the life buoy use crab or worm baits,
or try any of the piers.

The carpark behind the swimming pool is a good place to start,a 3 hook rig with worm and mussel as baits, various fish are caught from this mark and you also have the advantage of being able to sit in your car right next to the sea wall when the weather is bad...........mick
