Restrictions at Sharm El-Sheikh
Looking at a previous post - http://www.worldseafishing.com/forum...ighlight=Egypt - by EgyptAngler is appears that this is a restricted area. Here's an extract from his post:
It might well be worth PM-ing him just in case the situation has changed.Due to the fact that fishing is prohibited in and around Sharm El-Sheikh, you can't really find professional, specialized fishing boats with professional skippers there. What happens is that when some diving, snorkeling, or supply boats are not taken, they might offer going out -unnoticed- for fishing.
In such cases you can't tell what the price is like, because it is not an organized or legal business. If spotted by park rangers, the boat is detained for several hours, heavily fined and all tackle is confiscated. Simply I don't recommend it! Sorry if this disappoints you.
