    casting line

    whats a good cheap line for practising casting with ,is seastrike any good.

    Seastrike is fine for practise,beds down quite quickly and is nice and cheap although it is a little thick.I use 12lb for .35mm practise, 10lb for .31mm and 8lb for .28mm

    I'll second that . Gets a tad brittle after a few casts if you tend to thumb the spool a wee bit like i do.
    I also use Penn super surf.

    another big up for sakuma brilliant for casting and also good for fishing and its not the most expensive line on the market
