Falkland islands
Bit of a long shot this.
I m flying out to the falklands on sunday for a week and can just about fit a travel rod and a few bits and pieces in my dive bag.
Does anyone have any info on what there is to catch from the shore on lures??
cheers

Hi Jumbo
There some interesting comments on this particular thread - http://www.worldseafishing.com/forum...light=falkland. As well as the Sea Trout, and you're apparently there at the right time of year, there's also mention of 'monster' Mullet.
That's a long, long way just for a week! If you have the time though please put together and post a report on what you catch.
Many Thanks
Dave

Tourist Board Site
Hi Jumbo
Glancing through an old magazine last night - it's the annual clear up of the 4th bedroom decreed by 'her in doors' - I found an ad for the Falkland Islands Tourist Board. On their web site's - http://www.visitorfalklands.com/ - home page there's a section on FISHING with reference to Trout and Sea. There're also links to more detailed info set up by the individual settlements in the Islands. Might be worth a look?
Dave
