Ballywalter Cephalapods
Hi all
I have been having some great fishing off Ballywalter. The mackeral are super, small whiting, small cod, doggies and even haddock. Lithe and Blocken are super as usual.
I have however been getting the odd octupus on bait. Anyone else gettiing these. Is it usual .

ive caught 2 octopus before, both in donegal a couple of years ago. they both took the weight not the lures. i was feathering for mackeral at the time
give a man a fish, he eats for a day. teach him to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day
