new rod at last
just got my new century Ccc ld from martin at aquarious rods ,
been looking forward to putting a bend into it since before christmas i know there has been a bit said about this rod on the forum , is there anybody that has the rod got anything more to say about the rod e.g bite detection , what is it like throwing a large lead and cod bait out ?

cheers norrie , whoever bought that got a sweet deal , not too many of them rods about that was on an old school blank , they just dont make that blank anymore , hope the buyer has a few good fish on it !!

Yep, thought so Guy, but for two minutes, and it was mine..That was the second boat rod in as many days, that i've missed.....Pigs !!!!!! or words to that effect !!!!

I bought a standard c3 the other week..i have to say i quite like it, it seems to cast like the anyfish anywhere beach rod but it has alot more feel. i find that 150g feels like nothing on that rod so i will try a 175g when i next go fishing.
