new rod at last
just got my new century Ccc ld from martin at aquarious rods ,
been looking forward to putting a bend into it since before christmas i know there has been a bit said about this rod on the forum , is there anybody that has the rod got anything more to say about the rod e.g bite detection , what is it like throwing a large lead and cod bait out ?

Yep, thought so Guy, but for two minutes, and it was mine..That was the second boat rod in as many days, that i've missed.....Pigs !!!!!! or words to that effect !!!!

I bought a standard c3 the other week..i have to say i quite like it, it seems to cast like the anyfish anywhere beach rod but it has alot more feel. i find that 150g feels like nothing on that rod so i will try a 175g when i next go fishing.
