Have you tried adjusting the length of the drop for the lighter leads?
Usually you drop will get slightly longer as the leads get lighter

Length of drop as Mark says, also try with your hands slightly closer together, inch at a time. When executing the cast, spin yourself round leaving your arms behind you as the lead peaks, then whip your left arm across your body, pulling through your left shoulder, assuming you are right handed, and punch up with your right. The key is your head, which should turn to look at your target in the sky as soon as the power stroke begins.
Hope this makes sense.
