super markets
would you buy any fish thats not gutted from a supermarket
i wouldn't buy any fish as the macky i buy and fillet is stinking

If the fish being sold in the supermarket is not gutted then odds on it is a farmed fish which has been starved prior to harvesting.
The vast majority of fish caught commercially are gutted at sea (apart from bass, red mullet and spurdogs etc)
Never seen anyfish in a supermarket that i would want to feed to my dog, let alone eat myself
SSA lure passing by at a steady course and speed might well tempt the fish; but if you give them something to chase - they cannot help themselves.....

I would not buy any 'fresh' fish from a supermarket. If I cant eat it the day it is caught then I would rather go without.

stay away from super market fish
only if i need bait to i go there if missed bait shop,better of cathing it or fish mongers.shaggy
