Pendulum

Hey guys was just wondering if anybody know's of a website or something which shows you how to pendulum cast?

If you are just starting to learn, the proven method is to start with the Off-the-ground cast. Only when you can do this almost standing on your head, casting 140-170+ yards effortlessly, should you perhaps think about casting with a moving lead.
The most important thing you will need is a sense of rhythm. The best shortcut is a competent instructor, a video or website is a poor second.

i see you live in the vale of glamorgan...why not pop along to one of the surfcast wales events on the last sunday of the month to see how its done.there are plenty of instructors there who are more than willing to help.details of how to get there are on the website..

i also agree with phil..off the ground first,then on to the pendulum.

Thanks for the replies boys, I've been fishing for a few years but bout a 2nd hand zziplex not so long ago and the reel seat is fixed low down on the butt section and I just can't cast as far as I used to so thought maybe learning new technique would be quite useful, I maywell pop down to the surfcasting thing. Nice one boys.
