2-4oz distance rod
i'm looking for suggestions for a distance rod using the above weights.ideally though i will be using 3oz.also,what weight line could i comfortably get away with,or would i be better off trying braid.fs or multi suggestions are fine...thanks ...allan
oops nearly forgot,got a budget of £150,but don't mind going the secondhand route

tip tornado lite - have seen casts of over 200 yards with a 50g lead on one of them
just got a zzippy bass myself - let you know what i think when the casting season starts (if its the same as last year - the rod will be good and i'll be crap)

I second the TT Lite .. a sweet rod for casting 3-4oz
Slightly above your budget but can be got for around £185, well worth going the extra few quid
