OK ALL.....HERE GOES.

NB. You DO NOT need to be a member of this club to fish any of the inter county friendlies currently being organised on this site. This club is being created due to the amount of people that have suggested/shown an interest in creating a club for social as well as fishing reasons.

If anyone else would like to join, please let us know ON THIS THREAD ONLY.

If I have mistakenly added anyone to the club list, who only wishes to fish the friendly matches, please let us know ON THIS THREAD ONLY.

Some people have mentioned issuing club numbers; we will do this in about a week when we are sure we haven't included those who do not wish to be members and given others a chance to join.

At present we have decided the following:-

Match Captain.........Howie.
Secretary and Treasurer.....Me.

Other positions may be required as we move forward and volunteers may be asked for.

For the moment, if anyone has any ideas for the club, whether it be regarding the successful running of it or anything else that may be helpful....please add it TO THIS THREAD ONLY.

yes please chaps - being based in Reading makes ithard to get out at times, but have fished the area a few times last year (with Ivor and met RichardB) so would like the chance to join up with all more often.
May not be able to meet all match dates due to work commitments and having a young pup who demands a lot of time, but will do what I can!!
Are charter boat matches a possibility??

26/5/07 brandown1800hrs-2200hrs hi tide 2040 h4.0
14/6/07 selsey 2000-2359 hitide 2339 h4.7
27/7/07 pagham2000hrs-2359 hitide 2229 h4.1#
18/19/8/07 west bex-abbotsbury rover sign in from west bex car park from 1800hrs fishing time 1930hrs untill 0800hrs sunday morning
these are the matches that ive arranged at this moment in time would be nice to see everyone down at these comps/matches.so have a think about it any questions then let me no ALL OUR COMPS WILL BE 2 RODS MAX OF 4 HOOKS.AND ALL FISH BROUGHT BACK TO THE WEIGH INS WILL BE IN A BUCKET WITH WATER ANY ANGLER CAUGHT DUMPING FISH (ALIVE/DEAD ON THE BEACH WILL BE KICKED OF THE TEAM THERE AND THEN WITH OUT ANY ARGUMENTS ALL FISH TO BE RETURNED TO THE WATER AFTER THE COMP/MATCH HAS FINISHED DOGFISH ONLY COUNT AS 1 POINT.MACKERAL DO NOT COUNT IN ANY MATCH/COMP IF ANYONE WANTS TO ADD ANYTHING HERE THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE TO (DONT TAKE THE P IS OUT OF MY SPELLING AS IVE HAD A LONG AND KRAP DAY TO DAY THINGS NEVER GO BLOODY RITE LOL

Hi Niall and welcome.

Charter trips should be a possibility at some point and maybe matches later on. Something to discuss when we have our first meeting........in a pub, obviously!!
