    float fishing

hi folks , great bit of crack sunday evening fishing off dun laoghaire pier in dublin.
I brought a spining rod with 10lb line and float fished the middle of the pier using
good old rag about 4 foot depth and no sooner than i cast BANG the first bite a pollock small but you would think it was a tope the way the tip of the rod bent a great bit of sport . so i fished til it was getting dark about four hours of fishing and five pollack no more than 2 or 3lb but nice fishing with lite tackle and few rag.
next time heading to the end of the west pier great fishing there the same evening as the lads were passing heading home after a good days fishing telling there storys or GOSSIP we will see

    Alright Cichlid,

sounds like you had fun on Sunday evening. Those pollack give a good fight.

Using the light tackle is great fun, especially when you get a decent fish on. I seen a pollack caught last night on tight tackle using a jelly by a kid - he really enjoyed that.

The Ragworm seems to be my most effective bait at the minute too.

    Keep up the good work.

    GG
