    Unhappy bad day at canvey

    First time on here! reg today. fished Canvey lobster smack yesterday PM tide, off groin bait used fresh rag also tried topping with frozen prawn Not even a bit! Fished 2hrs up 3hrs down complete blank still weather was good (went home red faced in more ways than one) Is anywhere fishing well at the moment?

    Give the river Crouch a try, South Fambridge or Wallasea Island, fishing quite well at the mo for Bass, also a few Dogs and Rays.

    Give me a shout if you guys fancy a trip.

    Ps Im a Canvey lad it can be good and too be honest the smack isnt the best mark to fish.

    fished off my boat sunday with my son 8 fish between us 3 bass 1 codling 4 whiting all put back live and well toooooooooo small
