do YOU need educating?
Me and Dave (Danix) were bemoaning our casting ability last night, and the need we had for a bit??? of tuition.
Just wondered if any of the regulars on here felt the same, and if we could arrange some sort of mini "teach in" or whatever.
I know there are some top notch casters in the north west area who are regular posters on here, could we arrange something?
Anyone interested?
The brute force approach has run it's course, and it's time for some expert input!

Put me down, I could do with a few tips. Perhaps if we went out at low, someone could help me with my pumping as well (1 small worm, when Dave & Phil had about 120 between them :-()

count me and my mate matt in!!!! this could be a really good idea, as there are loads of us on here who would benefit from casting lessons myself included!!
also ferdis idea of learning the art of pumping sounds good too!!
infact why not make it a "tuition day" get some local tackle dealers, rig builders etc involved then invite everyone who wants to come along and learn, would also be great to get the kids involved aswell, would raise the profile of our sport no end as well as giving us all some usefull information, a chance to meet up, and of course have a mini friendly comp at the end of the day!!
just a few ideas

Good idea, Me and a mate took a lesson from an instructor a couple of years ago just to see if we could improve our lot, because we had a " fairly good tenchnique" according to the instructor with only two hours instruction I had increased my casting distance by30%, I have just had a shoulder operation and will be out of fishing action for around three months and will be looking for instruction again to get back into swing again, good luck with your fishing and casting for the future
