how much is the minimum order? and what are the prices like compared to the shops?
i would go for ammo everytime now. i used to think you just paid for the name, but the bait is so good i won't use anything else now. squid the only exception.

With auction sites for tackle and buying bait from wholesalers, there won't be any tackle shops left in 10yrs. Not that I can blame anyone, I'm just as guilty. In the end its all about money.
I visited Ammo's place in St Ives once whilst holidaying there to try and get some live eels. They went out of their way to be helpful; gave me a poly box with sea water and ice to keep them alive and didn't charge more than a quid or two for the eels. Impressive service.Last edited by Charlton Smoothhound; 06-03-2007 at 22:43.

Strange thing with Ammo eels , all the locally tackle shops struggle to get any in the spring , but drive 200 miles away up country and their supply is uninterrupted , strange?
