Tope Mark
I was reading that the record tope caught in Ireland was in Carlingford lough, does anyone know a tope mark I could try down there? Fishing from the boat. I might take a run down if I get some good weather is most of the fishing done at the mouth of the lough?
Thanks
Mariek

most of the tope fishing is done at the mouth of carlingford on the sand banks if you were to try about 54.01N 6.05W you would not be a million miles out.

Hi there, I fish Carlingford regularly primarily from the shore, but I know the local charter skippers fairly well. I'll get some info for you from them.
All the best
Mick
Ps. If you're coming bring a spinning rod and some plugs! The bass fishing has been pretty good this year!

That would be great thanks if you could stretch to a GPS mark that would be perfect!
Caught some nice bass spinning for them in very shallow water in Jersey, some great sport!!
Thanks again
Mariek
