Some flounder also have the orange spots. Looks like one to me because of the boney mouth area and diamond shape.

100% not a megrim.
Looks like a spotty fluke (flounder) to me
SSA lure passing by at a steady course and speed might well tempt the fish; but if you give them something to chase - they cannot help themselves.....

Yup very true, unfortunately the picture is too pixlated to see if it is actual vivid orange or dull orang spots or if they are even orange spots
hard to say, the pic is not square on so it could easily be slightly more rounded than it looksLooks like one to me because of the boney mouth area and diamond shape.
