Hello there. Sorry for the delayed response! Kerry is brilliant for fly fishing. Most areas of rocky or mixed ground hold bass that respond well to fly. There are also numerous rocky headlands leading into deep water. Pollack can be taken here using sinking lines and large flies. Yellow and red seem to be the best colours. Dusk is by far the best time. My advice to you would be to contact Bob Moss for a chat. Bob lives on the Dingle peniusla near Ballydavid. Bob writes for the Veals website and his contact details are on there. If you're having any problems contacting him just let me know. If you can, purchase his books. They're the best starting point for fishing in the Dingle area. Take my advice though, try to stay out of the pub as much as you can! Dingle is a true anglers paradise!
If you're really stuck you can read the article I've written on this site - Stutter, sputter, splash and pop! It's on the front page and in the lure fishing section.
Good fishing!
Mick
