    fished out of Portsmouth on Meridian Express.
    we caught loads or whiting,pouting,dogs 1 cod of 14lbs and about 8 eels upto 35lbs.
    lost a few eels due to using cod traces but once we upped our trace strength we landed them.

    the baits we were using were squid,macky and cuttle.
    big baits changed regulary either on there own or cocktailed.none seemed to work any better than others.i did try whole squid with 2 black lug elasticated to the side but this just caught pout and doggies.
