Tournament Results
Well, it was a night that started out with great weather. A system of horse-shoe shaped nasty weather came off miami and moved over the swording grounds. Most of the boats made it out ok from what I heard and kept fishing.
The unoffical results are as follows:
1st - Lynn Louise - 170lbs

Big Dungy
Hi Big Dungy, Why cant you have a positive reply for any threads as you dont even know if the swordfish was released or not and I would be over the moon with the capture of a fish of this size and I guess that it would have been released due to the fact that this species of fish would more than likely be released similiar to our Skate conservation programme here in Scotland.
C'mon lighting up and appreciate the species caught and photographed

I think if you follow the link there, you'll see that it's highly doubtful if it was released.

red m8.... did you see the wee smilie with the wink and the 1 with the big smile...do you know what they mean !!! and as for it being released if you read the post you will notice that they said they were out on the sword grounds...but correct me if im wrong the fish in the photo looks like its on a jetty in a marina and if it was alive I dont think a small kid would be holding its bill like that do you
and I do appreciate the fish caught I think its a beut, great photo as well, I just think it would of been an even better photo to see it released.
you have a nice day now

Hey!!!
Hey, Cant you just feed some positivity rather than negativity and be happy for the capture of these beautiful species wether they are released or not.
I did not mean to sound off but people use this forum to show catches and spread the word so lets just do that instead of critisism of others.

Swordfish Central
Hi Codhead Bob, I have read the article and I would believe that some of the fish are kept, but the Swordfish Central boats will be releasing as many fish back I bet!!!!
I bet the both of you have never fished in the Florida area and never experienced the Swords!!!

Red correct me if im wrong...but where in any of my original threads does it say any thing about me being negative ? I think its a terrific fish well done to tyurke for catching it ( if he did ) or whoever caught it. I also metioned that it was a great piccy did I not ????? I mentioned that it would have been nice to see a photo of the fish with it swimming away with a couple of smilies next to it 1 a wink the other a cheesy grin ( which meant well done , good on ya etc etc)
Im like codheadbob I can see a dead fish in a photo, I can also read a post.
Try it some time I am sure it will save you from posting a lot o cack.
and if you would like to check back any of my previous post i am sure you will find loads of positive comments.
You have a nice day now
