    Which rigs to use ?

Right then, i'm soon off to port patrick for a days fishing but as this is my first time fishing for something other than mackarel, i'm unsure which rigs, traces and lures to get for the trip. i've had a trawl through ebay but there is so much choice that im lost.
I will be using the supplied boat rod and would be grateful for any pointers or ebay links to suitable items.

    cheers.

Hi keep it simple-traces of no more than 3 largish feathers or other type lures with either a weight or pirk will serve u most of the time.
Use bait on both the feathers and pirk for larger fish.
It may be worth buying a few "flowing" traces for flatties and the like in case u fish some clean ground but most times baited feathers are the norm.
Hope this helps a little-E-bay full of cheap traces-try to get the heavier duty ones.
