Right eveyone the next meet will be in the river tyne on sunday 29th july high water is 4.15pm.

Fishing from 1.30pm til 6.30pm or whenever you decide to leave

BAIT PEELER CRAB FRESH OR FROZEN WILL BE THE TOP BAIT......WORM AND FISH BAITS WILL ALSO FISH ASWELL

SPECIES LIKLY TO CATCH WILL BE GOODSIZED FLATTIES AND EELS WITH THE ODD CODLING WHITING AND COALIE THERE ASWELL

BEST RIG - 2 HOOK FLAPPER RIG SIZE 2 OR 1 HOOKS BEADS AND SEQUINS OPTIONAL

GROUND - CLEAN GROUND CASTING INTO MUD

LEADS - 3oz TO 5oz MAX - PLAIN OR GRIPPERS

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEET

When you come off the swing bridge turn left come along past the copthorn hotel turn left onto skinnerburn road come all the way along the road to the junction turn left onto monarch road you then want to take your next left onto amethyst road we will be fishing right along as far as you can go there will be ample enough parking with it being a sunday.

Pencil my name down, can't say for definate though now but can't see no reason why i can not make it. Is it ok to bring one or perhaps two other people along? i may also be looking for a supply of peeler nearer the time too. Could you possibly get some street names or postcodes aswell when you decide on the venue so i can check it out on Google earth or try and find directions with Promap or AA route planner?
