lougher idependant lifeboat is holding a fund raising day 11th august 2pm-8pm there will be a fair, steve doing another bath of beans, rescue with the lifeboat and raf sea king chopper, raft race, the wave radio station live,dellboys 3wheeler,fire service where you can blast the crew member with a firemans hose,and plenty more these guys need 40k for a new lifeboat they are independant so they have no funding from anyone they are not a rnli lifeboat.its a family fun day for all if your wive are into firemen bring them along at least you will have a bit of peace.you can have a look around the lifeboat station bring the wife and children lads you can go fishinghope to see you there.steve

Thanks Steve for starting this thread, i will just continue from where you have left off. As Steve said the Loughor Regatta is taking place this year on Saturday 11 August 2007 starting at 14.00, all sorts of events are taking place aswell as stalls selling pretty much anything. There are fun things for all the family from a small funfair to face painting for the kids, on the water, there are jetskis and sailing dingys as well as a rescue demonstration by the Loughor Lifeboat and the Seaking Rescue Helecopter(subject to availability). The Lifeboat itself will have some stalls selling merchandise and also Del Boys Robin Reliant van will be parked up by the station for you to come and sit in and also have your photo taken with all the proceeds going to the Lifeboat. It really is a fun day out for all the family and just by turning up on the day you will be helping the Lifeboat to continue to save lives. as some of you may or may not know, Loughor Inshore Lifeboat is one of around 80 independent Lifeboat Stations around the country whose's crews all give up their time any time of the day or night to help people in distress.

hi peeps dont forget a week saturday me in the bath of beans come along have fun and raise funds for loughors new lifeboat.loads going on it will be nice to meet a few new faces i dont normally meet peeps when im in the bath but you can pop along and tip the beans over my head and have fun
