13 October - Deal - South East vs South Return Match - All Welcome

Right folks - after we suffered a miserable defeat at a windswept and soggy Brighton Marina in July, the South East Forum is holding the return leg at Deal on 13 October. It will be a daytime meet around a middayish tide with full details to be decided nearer the time.

This thread is just for those of you who can fish it to add your names. I know one or two have already posted on the SE forum but please post again here. I am away for the next ten days but thought it would be a good idea to kick this off now - get the date in your diaries and lets try hard to square the series!

I am a definite and as far as I know so are Andy Colmer, Edgey, Tom Parker, Fishyrob and Vic_Fisher. So that's at least 6 for the South already. My apologies if I have forgotten anyone but that's why I started the thread - so we get all the names in one place.

All are welcome - you don't have to be a match angler or even an experienced angler because the meet is the main thing - the match is just for fun. I guess the rules will be similar to the ones we fished to on the Marina - average points per angler.

Would love to come along, but very much depends on work. I'm on shift that day wouldn't you know it, but I'll see if it's possible to get time off. So put me down as a possible. Cheers

Just to let you know our southeast numbers to fish the return comp now stands at 21 so come on southern lads get your names in to come and have some fun and hold up your reputation.

Dates in my diary and have never fished Deal before so looking forward to it.

I'm sure the numbers will swell as people pick up the thread.

Blimey - posted this ages ago before my hols and very sad to see so few responses! Come on fellas - there must be a good few of you who fished the first match who would be up for the trip to Deal!

Surely we can manage more than 7 confirmed? They've got 21 and counting!
