When you watch Discovery and see henry Gilbey pulling in 40lb cod when he's just larking about you cant fail to be interested.
Ive always wondered on these long haul trips with a ferry or plane trip involved, what you do with all the fish you catch? Personally I sea fish for the pot/freezer only so wouldnt be overkeen if we were catch limited otherwise its not cost effectiveOutspoken, often : wrong NEVER

paulsp2 if you are looking at this type of fishing check out Artic Discovery contact number 01229 467000 ask for Doug Steel. Some cumbrian lads are using him for a fishing trip to Norway, they say they got a good deal.

I have a tentative booking for skjervoy in June or maybe July next year ...I need at least one other to go to keep costs down.it will be about 800 quid for a week for accom, flights and boat ...plus 80 for transfer and a couple of hundred for food and fuel.....so reckon on about 1200 in all... This year was terrific and i cant wait to go again but my regular fishing buddy cant go. I know its a lot of dosh, but its worth it.r
If I cant find anyone from the NW....I'll open it up to everyone.
