it isnt fishing at mo snagger, keep toying with going thurs eve for flood but prob leave it a week, with this melting snow snow and freshwater running out to sea, pushing the fish further ofshore, i havent been for a couple of weeks now and getting itcy feet, need to have a sesh soon with my buddy catchers.
If you first dont succeed, try, try, and try again until you do.

Plenty of Codling and Roker out there at the moment, but the pier never quite produces the goods compared with the small boats that often fish the area around it!

Good luck, hope you get into a few...

As it goes, my Avatar pic was taken on Walton Pier December 2010, it was was our last match of the year and a bit chilly at -5, lol.

Thanks for all the reply's to my post, our 2nd Tightliners Match 2012 will be held there on 18th so lets hope things pick up fish wise.

    hi everyone,

I'll also be on Walton pier on Thursday, I arranged it ages ago, but didn't reckon on this weather.
This my first time on the forum, I Haven't done much sea fishing since I was a kid, although I fished the pier a couple of times in Dec & early Jan. Any advice for Thurs would be appreciated.

    Gonk.
