Jambojersey should be able to help. We don't get the news over here unless is special or like Jambo's last report where a local does well. Alderney news seems to be more of a neutral reporting area though!
I tried looking for info through the local links and couldn't find any. Jambojersey do you have a local website for catch reports etc? I found the tourism fishing site which I was quite impressed with but other than that nothing on the news and all the links come up for new jersey!

In the same Boat
Hi Guys :I am in the same boat as yourself what I have to do is go into the fish market in beresford street and fish around for the best fish news I can get the local tackle and bait shop is where I plaice my bait ,there is always a nice man comes by at some stage telling me those whopping fisherman's tales.
I also try fishing around for Channel Island local fish catches on the computer to no avail.
But I agree more should be done in regards fishing venues here in jersey they had a big discussion about the new waterfront project site today so lets hope they connect us to the castle dream on prince jambojersey dream on

I've only looked on the net for about the past three months and the following is good for Guernsey. Plus Len Le Page has a weekly column in the Guernsey Press to keep us all informed. Anything at all in Jersey? I'm sure Jersey tourism would help? I found the boat pages for the Anna II but it only had fish of the month pictures really.

bass season
Sounds like a decent fish. I caught 1 bass around 4lb off the rocks at Corbiere on a plug at the end of September and was thinking of coming over again in a few weeks to have another go. Are the bass still around in November?
