Herne Bay Hampton Pier
Can anyone give me tips on fishing this venue ?
I know that there are a few local guys on this forum, but they have kept their e-mail addresses secret. So if you would be so kind as to post info on here or e-mail me direct I would be obliged.

To be honest, that is not the greatest venue in the world, especially since theve been digging it up (May be just a coincidence).
In my experience it's more of a summer venue with bass, wrasse, gar etc.
Now in the winter you might get the odd big bass or the remote chance of a codling, and when i say remote it is.
You are more likely to pick up Whiting, but you can get these off the shore.
Hope this helpsI went down to the sporting goods store and got a new rod and reel for my other half.....pretty good trade, don't ya think?

Herne Bay
Herne Bay has been poor for years. Not much to be caught at any time of the year. Problem is, the whole Kent coast is the same. Trawled out. Might have to take up course angling to catch a fish over a pound in weight!
