    Burnhouse Lochan

When the weather is not too hot this is a fishery i go to to whip the fly about. Very clean rainbow trout, hard fighting fully finned. Average fish i have caught is bout 2.5-3lb. Have had trout up to 8.4lb. Excellent fight on the fly rod. The fishery is only 15 mins from Glasgow. Tight lines and hope the cod are up for it this weekend.

Thank you for the tip. The tides are wrong for sea angling for me tomorrow so i think I'll nip up there and practice my fly casting. The reports on the fishery look very good.

    Any Luck

Hope you got on all right at Burnhouse, as previously posted, it is a great fishery, doesn't have the variety of fish that swanswater has i.e. brown, golden & blue but the fish are quality.

    Tight lines.

It makes all the differance IMHO the quality of fish. I'd sooner have that than variety. Its nice to see a fishery that takes care in choosing its fish.
