Hi. Deal Angling Club 1919 are hosting their Christmas Pier & Beach Festival on 16th Dec. 2007 11am to 4pm. Prizes include 30 Turkeys, Christmas Fayre and £500 of other prizes + pools. There will be 4 pegged zones. The pier has easy access for those who need it.
and the disabled are welcome as Entries/Labels will be issued on both Sat.15th 7pm to 9pm and on Sunday morning 9am to 11am at the club headquarters at 13 The Marina, Deal, Kent.

Hello all. Thanks to the 100+ brave souls who fished in Deal on 16th Dec. 2007. Great atmosphere in the 1919 clubhouse later on for the weigh-in and prizegiving. 30 plus won prizes, mmm not a bad odds is it 1 in 3? Over 60 weighed in inc. one with a just over 1.12K for heaviest fish.
Martyn Reid, Mark Hurcombe +Michael Coleman won Turkeys and Hampers and 27 others won turkeys. I think the pool money was over £400+. There were some other prizes as well given out. A lot of happy people went home for a good Christmas. Hope to see you all again next year. Jean + Mole M.G.
