fish fest abbotsbury
Hi To One And All.
Myself And Ian Houlton Are Arranging A Fish Fest At Abbotsbury On The 20th Jan 2008,this Is In Aid Of
Teenage Cancer Fund And The Local Branch Of The Rnli,there Will Be Prizes For The Best Overall Length Of Fish,the Price Of Tickets Is £6.50 Half Of Which Is For Prize Money And The Other Half For The Chosen Charities As Chosen By Ian,there Are Other Prizes As Well Rig Wallet,line,etc.some Of Ians Famous Rigs,best Prize On Its Own,+a Special Prize For The Winner
There Hopefully Will Be A Casting Instructor For Those Wishing To Get Some Tuition,and A Guy From A London Fishing Mag Will Hopefully Turn Up As Well,
The Prizes So Far Donated Have Been From Veals,somerset Angling Bridgewater,jims.this Will Be A Really Good Day For Members To Get To Meet And Hopefully If A Great Success We Can Hold One Every Year,
The Times Will Be Decided On The 1st Of Jan 2008 But Something Like,,,meet In Car Park For 10 -1030am Get Tickets And Score Cards Chat See The Casting Instructor Those That Want To,will Also Try To Arrange Burger Van,then Kick The Fishing Off About 1130-12 Pm To 5pm Please Help This Event Chaps,

anyone can turn up, it is purely a friendly thing and just for laughs.
the total length of all catches is going to take it and anyone with any kind of mobility issues needs to get there early because we will not be the only people on the beach.

Rob I really do not know if the Cod will still be around, it is a daytime comp for safety that may have a baring, but on the whole the last time we did this it went to dogfish, the geezer who won it had an 8lb Conger o n a sixe 4 hook! lucky git!
