If the weather is good and we can make the marks doubles will be standard for the day, no piddling little 3lb excuses.
The last time I went two years back I caught the first cod and as we were having a little aside on the matter it was weighed in at 8lb and a few ounces, it proved to be the smallest of the day

I will be going down the night before fishing Sunday and travelling back early Monday morning, I have not yet tied up with Roger 100% on this one but the sofa is still on offer.
If Roger is going down on the day and back up again I may well go down a couple of days before and try to pick up some mid-week individual sessions.
I think Roger was consulting with his good lady about timing etc.
