South East??

not managed to do much fishing lately time seems to keep running out, so i booked a weeks holiday second week in November and its going to be fishing all the time, i would like to try the s/e coast for some cod, i have never fished there before but read alot about Orford Dungeness dover deal and so on, i am not a teriffik long caster might manage 70/90yds on a good day. I know you cannot possibly know where the fish are going to be but can you point me in the right direction for somewhere that may produce some plump cod at medium range. I guess the bait will be squid and lug coctails on a pulley pennel rig & do you use long or short rigs? any info will be much appreciated. Cheers.

Also ya might wanna post on the east coast forum m8, thats where orford is, its about a 3 hour drive from Kent!

As regards length of hook snoods, i tend to use short when its rough n a lot of tide n long when its the opposite

Good luck
