to the gent who gave me invaluable tips and all his bait before going, thank you very much indeed. I did have a half decent take and nothing else after that, as expected

As for the report, southwick last night was a bit breezy, slightly damp and the sea was perfect

didn't manage to catch anything because I was too late by probably 1-2 hours

only 2 of us fishing and noone else on the beach, although visibility was somewhat restricted in the early part of the evening.

Hi Lagachette, nice to meet you last night.

In terms of the bait you are most welcome. Shame you didn't connect with the take that you had.

You definitely missed the most productive time however it was difficult fishing around low tide due to the sheer strength of the wind. The weather probably put most people off TBH. The wind turned from southerly to Easterly about 1 hour after low which made it a bit more comfortable with still a good surf running. Unfortunately I ran out of time although I'd have liked to have stayed another hour or so.

Hi Mr crabs, nobody digging last night however the weather was pretty rough.
