2010 Shimano Sea Bass Rods.

Just got the Shimano 2010 catalogue .

Two new spinning rods for next year, the Antares sea bass and Speedmaster sea bass. Casting weight from 7 - 35g to 70 - 120g. Lengths from 2.10m to 3.60m. RRP's from £150 to £280. Good looking rods hopefully will have an action to match, should be a hit in the middle/high market.

I wouldn't care if they were the best rods in the world. I would never buy a rod that had "sea bass" written on it.

Yes new Japanese rods look very nice, and you can find them for cheaper at around 40 000 Yen on some sites. Its just the hassle of getting them here as I doubt they will ever make it here.

There really is a need for some kind of fishing exhibition where you can test rods and know if you want to part with hundreds of pounds!
