Dungeness this evening

Arrived around 3pm to big sea and strong winds but managed to get both rods out holding with a 7oz.Fished in front of the lighthouse using squid only.Within half an hour of being there noticed a bundle of colour in the surf.Turned out to be a bundle of around 20 leads bout time I found some rather than lose some. After that luck I thought I'd be in for a good session and an hour into my fishing I pulled in a 4lb 6oz codling so was well chuffed. The wind dropped but the weed was still a pain but managed another codling of 4lb 3oz around low tide.Ended up with 2 codling, 5 whiting to 1lb 4oz and 3 doggies.Loads of people fishing tonight so should be a few more caught.
