Talking late report hythe friday night

went to hythe on fishermans beach on friday arived at 10 pm and left at 4am .

well what can say in one word whiting every cast on two rods with pulley pennels on , fished at all sorts of distance from 40 yds up to 120 yds

first cast of the night two blacks and half a squid , and result the smallest whiting you ever seen lol , the outher rod i put out a whole squid , and yes you guesed it a pound whiting lol , this went on all night , till high tide then a good pull down felt nice thought yes im in lol , got it to the surf felt realy good got on the beach it was the biggest dogy you well ever see , i was so anoyed lol

in the end i landed up with 10 whiting to take home for my daughter i hate the ruddy things myself, some where up to a pound in weight and put back a couple dogs , i sure i have whitinnitus that i caught from geordie si , oh well always saterday , i no hythe is of my xmas card list , will have to give sandwich ago

tight lines and watch you dont catch whitinitus its very contagious

john

Same as same as, i was expecting more, but whiting nearly every cast, didnt even manage a doggy. and funny enough, first cast was one of the smallest whiting ive ever seen, the squid was bigger, god knows how it got a 5/0 in its gob.

Thinking along the same lines, balls to hythe, sod the coast, maybe sandwich, other than that i will just stick to the river.

Had the same Fri night, we fished to the right up by the marshmallows in hostile territory, a whole squid tightly whipped with bait elastic kept most of the Whiting away, although most casts resulted in it being stipped bare. Had an angry doggie too, expected more as the wind blew hard friday AM, although possibly not southerly enough.

Unlucky John, shall be steering clear of Hythe this next week n try some other marks cos of the neap tides. Prob go to Sandwich at some point, wind looks a bit too much for pleasant fishing at Dungie.

We shall see
