Mariners Mon 23rd

Well the weather was awfull to begin with, but dried up a bit later and we even had some sun.
Got there a bit too late to set up next to Tets and the lads from Yorkshire, so me and Rains went to the right a bit, and then got very rained on.
Rains was first in with a little Codling, and then it was Whiting all the way for both of us,( rains had at least two double shots ) except for a 5 bearded rockling for me.
Tets will probablly add his bit later, (nice to meet you lads)

Anyway on to the pics of a very good venue with loads of fish=

Started after breakfast in the local cafe probably an hour after low the 4 of us had 8 codling, a rockling, a coalie and a whiting.

All undersize mind but a really funny day - the prize for the smallest codling (i think) ever caught goes to tim!! (see pic to be added soon) nice to meet people and the helpfull couple next to us who left us their left over bait and a lead when they had to go!! big thanks as we were getting a bit low and we lost rigs so the leads had run out!!

I didn't see anyone who had blanked so I reckon a good day out all round!!

look forward to next time

cheers
Steve

Dont start

Before certain people start let me just say that is not a frying pan but a damn great Wok, all those fish were well in size, in fact there were some lunkers early on.
No pics of em because it was screaming it down.
