Trigger fish down coney beach

Took my daughter fishing off porthcawl wall on sunday, I was speaking 2 this guy who picks leads up off the beach and he told me he saw trigger fish washed up on the beach, has anybody else heared this?

May have been caught in swansea on 1 of the boats in the harbour and thrown back in porthcawl or he could be talking crap

There were a few reports back in the autumn of Triggers being found washed up in the Porthcawl area

Triggers can be caught around tusker rock late season if the water temp stays high as it did this year.

these triggers have probably been netted out in the channel further west and thrown back ,just come in with the tide we had some big springs last week there was a couple of reports late last year of a few washing up on the beaches in swansea area.
another reason could be that the sea temperature around the coast is lower than normal the triggers have migrated here same time as normal hit the colder water and perished . there is a distinct lack of anything growing in the garden, no spring flowers no buds on trees temperatures are still low, spring is running about a month later than we have had in the last few years
